The world spins by itself
nothing to hold it there,
we are just little specks
but no-one really cares.

The universe is so big
so why are we so stubborn,
earth isn't the only planet
where life has been silently born.

Friends to them the government said
sending a satellite "greetings to you!"
They come to see our little planet,
blast them, and start anew.

Take a look up at the sky,
the stars so far away.
Someday we will visit them,
wonder up and say "G'Day".

I hope that they will be just as kind
and show the same respect,
that we would show them if they came
to our little nest.
